Warranty Policy

At HAVLO, we are committed to providing reliable mobility products and responsive customer support. This Limited Warranty applies to eligible new HAVLO mobility scooters purchased for personal, family, or household use in the United States through www.havlolife.com or an authorized HAVLO sales channel.

This Limited Warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable warranty period. It is separate from HAVLO's Return & Refund Policy.

1. Who Is Covered

This Limited Warranty applies to the original retail purchaser of a new HAVLO mobility scooter.

The warranty is non-transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Proof of purchase may be required to process a warranty claim.

Products purchased for resale, rental, fleet, delivery, institutional, or other commercial use are not covered unless HAVLO provides separate written warranty terms.

2. When Warranty Coverage Begins

Warranty coverage begins on the original delivery date shown by the carrier's delivery record.

For warranty purposes, the original purchase date and delivery information may be used to verify warranty eligibility.

A replacement part or replacement product does not automatically restart the original warranty period unless required by applicable law or otherwise stated by HAVLO in writing.

3. Warranty Period

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page or written warranty documentation, HAVLO provides the following coverage:

Covered Item Warranty Period
Structural Frame 1 Year
Motor / Motor System 1 Year
Controller / Control System 1 Year
Original Battery Six Months
Original Charger 1 Year
Factory-Installed Display / Electrical Components 1 Year
Factory-Installed Lights / Switches / Wiring 1 Year
Accessories 1 Year

For purposes of this warranty, covered electronic components may include the original motor, controller, display, charger, factory-installed lights, switches, wiring harnesses, and factory-installed electronic braking components.

Consumable or cosmetic items are not covered except where the issue is caused by a verified manufacturing defect.

Xcotton Product Protection

Customers may purchase Xcotton Product Protection for additional coverage for their HAVLO product.

After the 1-year manufacturer warranty ends, eligible mechanical and electrical breakdowns may be covered under the purchased Xcotton plan.

Coverage What Is Covered
Mechanical / Electrical Breakdown Covers mechanical or electrical component failures that occur without an accidental event. Covered components include the motor, controller, display, charger, wiring, lights, switches, braking system, battery, and other electrical components.
Battery Protection Covers eligible battery damage caused by accidental damage, water immersion, or power surge-related short circuits.
Battery Normal Wear Not covered. Normal battery aging or gradual capacity degradation resulting in reduced riding range is not eligible for a claim.
Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) Covers eligible accidental damage, such as damage caused by an accidental fall or other covered accident during normal use.
ADH Claim Requirements Customers must provide the time, location, and description of what happened, together with photos or videos showing the product damage. Failure to provide the required information may result in the claim being denied.

Important: Xcotton Product Protection is an optional protection plan separate from HAVLO's manufacturer warranty. Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits of the specific protection plan purchased.
